LG V20 "Life's Good When You Play More"

LG V20 is an Android phablet manufactured by LG Electronics. Unveiled on September 6, 2016, it is a successor to the LG V10 released in 2015. Similarly to the V10, the V20 is distinguished by a secondary display panel near the top of the device, which can be used to display additional messages and controls. The device also features quad DACs for audio.

The LG V20's overall design contains elements of the LG G5, however it lacks modular capability, but includes a chassis partially made of metal (the top and bottoms are made of silicone), USB Type-C connector, and a rear-mounted power button with integrated fingerprint reader. It is available in silver, "Titan" (dark grey), and pink-color finishes. The V20 features a 5.7-inch 1440p IPS LCD display, coated in Gorilla Glass 4. Similarly to the V10, a second, supplemental display is located at the top of the device to the right of the front-facing camera. The display can be used to display notifications, controls, and marquee display messages. The screen was made larger and brighter than the version on the V10. The V20 includes four ESS Sabre ES9218 Digital-to-analog converters (DAC) to enhance sound output; as a compliment, the V20 ships with Bang & Olufsen H3 in-ear headphones. The V20 utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 system-on-chip with 4 GB of RAM. The device includes 64 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card, and has a replaceable battery. It is also MIL-STD-810G shock resistant.

The V20 ships with Android 7.0 "Nougat" and LG UX 5.0+ software. It was the first Android device to ship with Nougat.

This System-on-a-Chip also supports Hi-Fi DAC audio up to up to 192kHz/24bit and the Snapdragon X12 LTE modem, which can reach up to 600Mbps, enough to stream 360-degree VR video; of course your carrier has to support such radical speeds on mobile devices.

The smoother photo and video capture is put to use in a great way. The LG V20 combines what we liked about the LG G5 and LG V10 cameras with a dual-camera setup on both the front and the back.

The two cameras on the back enable you to take photos with either a 135-degree wide-angle lens - so you won't have to keep backing up to get everything in the frame when snapping the Eiffel Tower - or the 75-degree standard lens.

The 5MP front camera has the same benefits, with a lens that can shoot 120-degree wide photos and video. Gone is the need for a selfie stick, and your friends' faces won't be cut off in group shots.

LG's camera benefits from its video manual mode, which lets pros tinker with the white balance, shutter speed and ISO. The phone can also take pictures while recording video, in what LG calls picture-in-video.

Most Important thing is the device also features quad DACs for audio. The phone has been priced at Rs 47,890 even though its box carries a MRP sticker with a higher price point. In India, the phone ships with a free B&O headset, which is a nice move considering the fact that V20 is a phone with big focus on the audio performance. Also in India, only one version of the phone is available. This version has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
