iPhone 6s - 3D Touch

Image
3D Touch A more sensitive version of Force Touch named "3D Touch" is included in the iPhone 6S. 3D Touch works using capacitive sensors integrated directly into the display. When a press is detected, these capacitive sensors measure microscopic changes in the distance between the backlight and the cover glass. This information is then combined with accelerometer signals and touch sensors to provide an accurate interpretation of the user's intentions.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus rumours: Specifications and features

Image
The iPhone 6s Plus saw the introduction of an impressive new 12Mp iSight camera, up from 8Mp in the previous model. We think that the 12Mp camera will remain in the iPhone 7 Plus , as it's already an impressive snapper for a smartphone. However, it has been rumoured that the iPhone 7 Plus will feature dual-cameras, based on tech acquired in 2015 from LinX Imaging. If true, we'll be able to expect improved noise reduction, indoor photos, low-light photos and 3D depth mapping. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told MacRumors he thinks both single- and dual-camera versions of the phone are in development, and that a 2-3x optical zoom function is likely to feature in the iPhone 7 Plus. Pictured below is an image render from Feld & Volk, a premium iPhone modification company. Where we really want Apple to improve the iPhone is in its screen resolution. At present, Apple's iPhone 6s Plus offers 401ppi, but with rivals such as Samsung and LG offering smartphones with Q

Apple iPhone 7 - next big iPhone

Image
Apple is gearing up to launch its next big iPhone. The company is about to announce its iPhone SE. It’s a major announcement for the company, but it’s not the iPhone 7 — that big phone isn’t expected to come out until September. Instead, Apple will be offering a smaller and cheaper version of the iPhone 6s, according to rumours, all of which will be put into a body with the size and some of the look of the iPhone 5. But that small phone might be far more important than the big sibling that will follow later in the year. It might even hold the key to the fortunes of the world’s biggest company for years to come.

Samsung Galaxy S7 - Consumer Report

Image
It looks like seven is Samsung’s lucky number. Consumer Reports just named the Samsung Galaxy S7 the best smartphone it has ever reviewed. The S7 Edge was named its second best. Similar to our own experience with the phones, Consumer Reports found the devices to have great cameras, excellent battery life, super-fast processors, and very high resolution screens. The expandable storage and water-resistance features also helped the phones gain their top ratings, partially because they make the other parts of the phone stand out even more. For example, the phone can record video in 4K, or Ultra-HD. Those files are huge in size, which makes it important to have a microSD slot for memory cards.
